[shouting] >> a day -- about 1:00 p.m. 200 protesters stopped traffic, blocking the intersection to interstate 80, refusing to leave. traffic brought to a stand still. >> no just no peace. >> in the group support barack obama say they're outraged of recent shoot shootings of black men in louisiana and minnesota. >> to the cops should be out of the force. you can't shoot people because you're nervous. >> san francisco police and chp in riot gear, guarded the freeway onramp and bay bridge approach. other officers kept their distance. >> black men killed in this country are killed by a police officer. >> reporter: some broadcast the protest through social media.

she lives in vallejo. he son got a text from am an unnobody saying his mother had been kidnapped and would be hurt if money was not delivered. police are not saying how much was demand, just that it was less than six figures. the son drove to his mom's house and this is what he found. >> he found his mother was not there. there was a small dog that was in residence, and it was deceased. there appeared to be n signs of forced entry at the home. the victim was last seen bay coworker who dropped her off at seafood city market in vallejo on june 29th at 3:00 p.m. >> reporter: police were called in on july 1st. they had been working with fair field police, sacramento police, the fbi, and the u.s. marshal's office, and then last night, these four people were arrested. investigators believe the so-called ringleader is emanuel
espinosa and also the one police say is an acquaintance of the victim. espinosa was arrested in sacramento and none of the suspects are cooperating. all are being held in the solano county jail tonight. also for a motive police think it was all about the money and they're very worried about the well-being of this victim. >> thank you. another kidnapping case in vallejo made national headlines. police originally thought the kid naeping was a hoax but further investigate led to muller. the kidnapping trial is set to begin next january. still ahead at 6:00, a new sign at that time san francisco's housing boom has slowed down and could slow even further. plus, changes coming to a popular san francisco spot. that great news for pedestrians and bicyclists.
